Critérium du Dauphiné comments [newest on top]

Francisco [K92-Team Neverland] Monday 17.Jun 10:50, 2019
I'm with you Koronin, very nice to see Tejay performing that way in Dauphiné.. :)

Koronin [Koronin] Sunday 16.Jun 22:00, 2019
Happy to see Tejay do well. I still do not expect anything from him at the Tour, but I'm happy to see him get a good result here.

sker [Team Paracarri] Saturday 15.Jun 21:30, 2019
7 guys in 33 seconds before the final stage. If we count TJ and Teuns out (they will play defence) there should be fireworks between the other 5

Koronin [Koronin] Saturday 15.Jun 18:58, 2019
It appears Quintana actually attacked today. (Watching Le Mans so haven't actually seen the stage yet. Will play catch up tomorrow.

Yes, they refused him a bottle 10-15k from the finish. Didn't seem too happy about it either.

Alaphilippe ? caus he didn't got that last bottle :D

That's because he was dying of thirst. :)

But he didn't get it easy ... Mühlberger sprint good ...

All hail the Musketeer. :)

Viktor86 [Le Tour de Brabant] Thursday 13.Jun 18:13, 2019
Froome should have lost 2017 due to his own infringements, but then the UCI did nothing.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Thursday 13.Jun 17:39, 2019
I only see one Sir on that podium

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Thursday 13.Jun 16:30, 2019

How many years until the Sirs are DSQ'd as well? I love antidoping. Vuelta 2011 podium in 2025: Mollema, Monfort and Van den Broeck.

Froome breaks his leg and seemingly wins another GT. 2011 Vuelta.

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Thursday 13.Jun 16:00, 2019

Fun cliffhanger though :D

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Thursday 13.Jun 15:55, 2019
He said that in some interview? And if that is known, it is impossible for him to succeed since he can't surprise anyone

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Thursday 13.Jun 15:48, 2019
17th FC-manager overall - 14th FC-manager last 6 weeks
Edvald is gonna attack from the peloton 2 km togo in a roundabout today ... so that's something to look forward to :D ...

Viktor86 [Le Tour de Brabant] Thursday 13.Jun 09:57, 2019

Froome with fractured femur, elbow and several ribs ...
Well, there goes 2019 ....
But what the hell was he thinking with one hand on the handle in a technical downhill in 60 km p h ? ...

Viktor86 [Le Tour de Brabant] Thursday 13.Jun 09:38, 2019
I am less surprised on the lack of faith in Van Aert. He was not expected to do so well in the time trial and the sprints.

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Gregari] Thursday 13.Jun 01:12, 2019
That’s just what I’ve been saying regularly for Mike Teunissen this year, Aragonite.

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Wednesday 12.Jun 17:28, 2019
22th FC-manager overall - 7th FC-manager last 6 weeks
He will have to be considered for Tour teams. Shame he will be used as Groenewegen's lead out man.

bminchow [Man Chow] Wednesday 12.Jun 17:19, 2019
Hmmm. Only 3 people picked Wout in the Fantasy? That is surprising.

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Wednesday 12.Jun 17:01, 2019
17th FC-manager overall - 14th FC-manager last 6 weeks
Yes ... absolute.... count him in the mix ... maybe even Quintana ... 40 sec behind

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Wednesday 12.Jun 16:34, 2019
22th FC-manager overall - 7th FC-manager last 6 weeks
If Buchmann hadn't got into the break on stage2 he would probably be leading now. Still has to have a chance of being thereabouts for me.

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Wednesday 12.Jun 16:16, 2019

This should be about Yates and Fuglsang now ... and Kruijswijk maybe ... Pinot ...

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Wednesday 12.Jun 16:01, 2019
17th FC-manager overall - 14th FC-manager last 6 weeks
That he could do a good ITT doesn't surprise me at all, but on this level was a little bit over the top :D

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Wednesday 12.Jun 15:59, 2019
17th FC-manager overall - 14th FC-manager last 6 weeks
Yes.... thats what i ment ... the gap here is insane

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Wednesday 12.Jun 15:57, 2019
This must be his second TT win on the road, first one was also a big surprise at the Belgium prologue one year ahead of Tony Martin. 47 seconds ahead of Dumoulin is crazy even if he is not 100% yet.

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Wednesday 12.Jun 15:53, 2019

Wow ... i gotta say ... Van Aert surprises me big today

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Wednesday 12.Jun 15:48, 2019

No quick way back from one of them.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Wednesday 12.Jun 15:42, 2019
Broken femur likely. Ineos is of course still the favorites for the Tour with Thomas and Bernal there

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Wednesday 12.Jun 15:42, 2019

WOW ... Van Aert ... what the hell ... let's see if he can stay ahead on the power stretch as well ...

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Wednesday 12.Jun 15:40, 2019

Remi took a long shot and droped Froome for Poels ... worth mentioning :D:D
I remember a dog in tour of Turkey also Remi :D

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Wednesday 12.Jun 15:18, 2019
First Bernal before Giro and now this, not the year to Ineos this?

Correct. Tried to streamline this part of the month with managers before the big Nationals weekend and therefore Belgium became a casualty.

Are we not doing the Belgian Tour this year?

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Monday 10.Jun 17:41, 2019
For flat sprint stages I often say that :) But not for stages like this

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Monday 10.Jun 16:28, 2019

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Monday 10.Jun 14:53, 2019

Andy ... yeah ... that can be a problem .. no doubt

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Monday 10.Jun 13:38, 2019

Yeah .... too bad he most likely will have to deal with Bennett though :D
Today is the day for Alaphilippe... birthday present in advance :D

LosBrolin [JuhaMieto] Monday 10.Jun 11:27, 2019
20th FC-manager overall - 20th FC-manager last 6 weeks
perhaps Alaphilippe will try tomorrow as well, birthday and everything.

"Do you enjoy racing in France?

Absolutely. Especially Tuesday. The stage will arrive in Riom, not far from the Center region where I come from. Lots of people who like me are coming. Especially since it will be my birthday!"

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Monday 10.Jun 10:59, 2019
How many Dimension riders to be there if no break established in the beginning of the stage?

goon1221 [Jinx.inc] Monday 10.Jun 09:27, 2019
17th FC-manager overall - 14th FC-manager last 6 weeks
Interesting stage today for Edvald fans ... the profile might be doable for him on paper, but i couldn't spot him yesterday when Stybar sat speed in the last climb ... so this will be guessing...
Dimension Data is far from strong enough to control any breakaway, but if i was in charge, i would order the team to do their work early on the stage and keep the distance to the breakaway on a minimum in a attempt to keep the Jersey ... then it will be up to QS if they want Alaphilippe/Gilbert to win, and Edvald to hang on ...
I think it will be tough for him in any way, but not impossible ....
A little surprised btw to see Alaphilippe do the lead out yesterday and drop bonus seconds ... he is obviously not here for GC ... so today's stage must be a goal for him ...

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Sunday 9.Jun 16:40, 2019
Sorry for that :)

Quintana for Porte. Apart from that we have the same selections goon. This field does live up to the title 'best stage race outside of GT' s'. Should be enjoyable.

johnjackjoe [JohnJackJoe Racing] Sunday 9.Jun 11:06, 2019
Fuck, forgot to set a Team yesterday... nooo :D Remembered 10min too late

Fuglsang
Alaphilippe
Yates

Who's always good here

Bardet
Martin

Who's fast

Bennett

Who's in shape

Pinot

Who's best on paper

Froome

Who's is Mr. Consistency

Quintana

Who's unsure of those best on paper

TomDum and Porte .... so I droped them :D ...

First in line outside my team is

Excited about if Edvald can take a big win again ... looked pretty sharp in ToN ... today maybe ? Jersey and everything .... would be nice

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Gregari] Sunday 9.Jun 00:01, 2019
I like the parcours, shame if broadcasts are restricted to last 75 mins as always.

Roche is perhaps maybe a serviceable mid-level mountain domestique, but apart from Kelderman and him all Dumoulin's lieutenants in the mountains are 25 or younger and more or less unproven apart from Oomen. Shame, though I can see why they splashed cash on Matthews instead of someone like Caruso.

A bit strange to bring up in the same breath, but Kittel going back on performance based-pay should be a fit for both parties.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Saturday 8.Jun 23:14, 2019
Sunweb has a lot of talented climbers, but few of the extraordinary mountain domestiques, maybe because of a budget which is not the exactly highest in the WT.

Viktor86 [Le Tour de Brabant] Saturday 8.Jun 20:26, 2019
The whole stellar support for Big Tom relies on an injury prone Kelderman anyway. Whch in itself is ridiculous mismanagement of Spekenbrink.

Koronin [Koronin] Saturday 8.Jun 06:08, 2019
Landa isn't racing there and likely won't be racing again until the Spanish National Championships. Quintana is leading Movistar's team here. I'm thinking possibly Soler is leading their team at Suisse.

LosBrolin [JuhaMieto] Thursday 6.Jun 12:12, 2019
20th FC-manager overall - 20th FC-manager last 6 weeks
Not gonna ride GC so it doesn't really matter tho

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Gregari] Thursday 6.Jun 12:04, 2019
Not exactly stellar support for Big Tom.

guest4126 [team_guest4126] Wednesday 22.May 09:05, 2019
Not a lot of opportunity for Landa here.
