Considering i've already managed to get the gaps wrong in Morocco using those methods, i'll give it as miss :)

This looks like the Queen stage :D

sker [Team Paracarri] Friday 6.Apr 02:03, 2018
also Alaphilippe TT went as predicted, 40 seconds back of Roglic and on the same line of guys like Mollema and Caruso with a decent performance but no match for any specialist

sker [Team Paracarri] Friday 6.Apr 02:00, 2018
Roglic did a very late shift to cycling so his talent it's really untested yet. For now I see him more as an explosive kind of rider who does well in short and steep mountaains and short ITT. Will see if he can develop some long term resistence

Hahaha the moment i did it, i was wondering if my shy mention of Froome would start anything :D

Not all within sports can be explains with dope, and if you really want things to be true, it's always a way to make it so
... I have a rule when it comes to " unjustified " suspicion of doping .... when an athlete have a pore technique and seems to work hard for it, and do well, unjustified suspicion is " on its place ", and i guess Froome needs a smood mouth to get out of that category :D

PS. Not that this ruin it for me .... that would be hell :D .. I have to trust the system enough to expect the cheaters getting caught .... nothing else to do ....

strange coincidence this

"Geert Leinders, who worked as a freelance for Team Sky in 2011 and 2012, has been banned for life by the United States Anti-Doping Agency."

Do you have any theories on Froome's rapid improvement that year, EPO? :)

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Thursday 5.Apr 18:42, 2018
4th FC-manager overall - 15th FC-manager last 6 weeks
He wasn't the only domestique to do well that year. But point taken, he did come to fame in a hurry.

Erythropoietin [Erythropoietin] Thursday 5.Apr 18:29, 2018
12th FC-manager overall - 2nd FC-manager last 6 weeks
froome wasnt :P
then he kicked out his "bilharzia" to finish 2nd in the 2011 vuelta as a domestique for wiggo

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Thursday 5.Apr 18:23, 2018
4th FC-manager overall - 15th FC-manager last 6 weeks
First big test is whether or not he goes 'pop' on Saturday's stage. If he doesn't it's another box ticked.
Froome, Nibali, Quintana etc were all just prospects at one point.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Thursday 5.Apr 18:22, 2018
7th FC-manager last 6 weeks
He seems to go very good in steep climbs so maybe the Vuelta is the one which suits him best.

goon1221 [BMC] Thursday 5.Apr 18:20, 2018

Sure ... he is a great point picker.... but you asked for a GT winner .... that I can't see .... yet :))

goon1221 [BMC] Thursday 5.Apr 18:13, 2018
11th FC-manager overall - 21th FC-manager last 6 weeks
I mean ... when Landa and Lopez, Quintan and Froome, Nibali is on ... even Uran and Bardet....

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Thursday 5.Apr 18:10, 2018
4th FC-manager overall - 15th FC-manager last 6 weeks
I think he will make most managers teams when he does attempt a GT. He has so many strings to his bow.

goon1221 [BMC] Thursday 5.Apr 18:07, 2018
11th FC-manager overall - 21th FC-manager last 6 weeks
I can't see it when the climbs getting 10 km + .... no way .... so far :))

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Thursday 5.Apr 18:04, 2018
4th FC-manager overall - 15th FC-manager last 6 weeks
We shall find out hopefully sooner rather than later. Very exciting prospect. But have to agree that at the moment a prospect is all he is.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Thursday 5.Apr 17:49, 2018
7th FC-manager last 6 weeks
He still hasn't proved he can handle 3 weeks of cycling where he go all in on all stages and not only go for breaks like Galibier stage in Tour last year

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Thursday 5.Apr 17:30, 2018
4th FC-manager overall - 15th FC-manager last 6 weeks
Is Roglic a GT winner in the future?

Koronin [Koronin] Wednesday 4.Apr 22:07, 2018
Not sure about shorter stage races, but Alaphilippe has said he doesn't want to be a GC rider for GTs. He's said he wants to be a classics rider and why he's very happy at Quickstep. So even though, in many ways he reminds a lot of people of a young Valverde, he'll never come close to what Valverde has does. (Aside from not being as good of a climber, he doesn't even want to try. That should be his choice.)

sker [Team Paracarri] Wednesday 4.Apr 21:57, 2018
To me this is Roglic race, only he can loose it. Better TT than Alaphilippe (at least 30/40 seconds to me) and he is better in the slightly longer climbs that Alaphilippe suffer.
Alaphilippe it's no GC guy to me, if he focus on 1 day races can have a pretty good career

Koronin [Koronin] Wednesday 4.Apr 01:50, 2018
@Thomas, LOL, I agree. It's definitely time for the wine, although I prefer white wine. :) If what we're seeing right now between Landa and Quintana is any indication of what's to come Valverde is going to have his hands full keeping the rest of the team on track and not imploding. Should Movistar consider putting Valverde in a referee's kit instead of the regular kit for the Tour?

Koronin [Koronin] Wednesday 4.Apr 01:47, 2018
Two stages, two wins for Alaphilippe and two 2nds for Roglic. Alaphilippe may need to make a decision at some point in this race. Continue to go after GC and risk not being in top form for the Ardennes, or do what he can here, but not go all the way into the red going after GC and hope to be in top form for the Ardennes. He has to be at peak in the Ardennes to take on Valverde.

Tomas [Second Coming] Wednesday 4.Apr 01:47, 2018
@Koronin @ritlefant : its time for red wine right now ;)

Alaphillipe is the leader of points classification after stage 1. That jersey is giving to no one here http://firstcycling.com/race.php?r=6&y=2018&k=etapper
And if you want to add, the young classification jersey is blue

I'll say

johnjackjoe [JohnJackJoe Racing] Tuesday 3.Apr 15:18, 2018

Peloton regrouped after the break went. Break is Vuillermoz, Caruso, Navarro, Hart, Grmay, Woods, Lopez, Geurreiro, De Marchi, Verona, Padun. Really strong break.

goon1221 [BMC] Tuesday 3.Apr 15:12, 2018

Nice ... who is where?

johnjackjoe [JohnJackJoe Racing] Tuesday 3.Apr 14:54, 2018
5th FC-manager overall - 11th FC-manager last 6 weeks
We'll see :) The race is getting blown apart right now. Peloton split in two with 1'30" between them and a 11 man breakaway out front. Might settle down again now.

goon1221 [BMC] Tuesday 3.Apr 13:37, 2018
11th FC-manager overall - 21th FC-manager last 6 weeks
That i can't agree trippel J ... Alaphilippe was 34 sec behind Denis ( who are best in the world at this ) on a 12 km dead flat TT in Abu Dhabi this year... and considering Roglic also like them a little more lumpy, I can't see that big a difference .... I think it will be pretty close actually :))

johnjackjoe [JohnJackJoe Racing] Tuesday 3.Apr 12:28, 2018
5th FC-manager overall - 11th FC-manager last 6 weeks
The TT should be to flat and just that bit too long for Alaphilippe to challenge Roglic. Alaphilippe will lose a minute at least in my opinion. Roglic somehow will still mess it up though :D

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Tuesday 3.Apr 12:11, 2018
7th FC-manager last 6 weeks
Alaphilippe is good on TT, he has showed that several times in his career, especially on short ones. He would maybe prefer some km shorter, but he challenge Roglic there even though no doubt Roglic is the favorite to GC currently.

Tomas [Second Coming] Tuesday 3.Apr 10:23, 2018
REGARDING TEAM VIEWER FOR THE MANAGER GAME:

"because tomas is offline and hasnt fixed the bug. the extended team view works though" <-- because of all the lagging on FC the last weekend during the last few days. The "worst" file in the whole system is that team-viewer page. So it doesnt help at all combined with our growing non manager playing visitor numbers.

As Epo said: use the extended team viewer. I'll make that the standard one later today, till we get around to update the other file.

Sker.... Kwiato rode RvV Sunday . ... didn't that ring a bell for you ... ? Sure, he's good, and had this great season ... but this combo I couldn't believe....
With that being said, it would surprise me big if he is a totally worthless pick ...
He will win something in this race :D
And Porte wins the TT ... so there you go ... Not worthless non of them :))

LosBrolin [JuhaMieto] Tuesday 3.Apr 09:42, 2018
3rd FC-manager overall - 12th FC-manager last 6 weeks
from the guys you mentioned Quintana is the best TTer

Koronin [Koronin] Tuesday 3.Apr 01:50, 2018
Can Bardet do a decent TT? Uran might be able to do a good TT if he's fully healthy (he missed a race due to illness). I think we can write off Landa and Quintana as neither one is very good at TTs, of course they also seem to be in their own little fight.

sker [Team Paracarri] Tuesday 3.Apr 00:53, 2018
Also is the race already over for GC considering the TT or someone can still beat Roglic? His performance might have spoiled a little bit the fun of this race

sker [Team Paracarri] Tuesday 3.Apr 00:42, 2018
Kwiatkowsky and Porte here on holiday = another manager over right from the start. This year I have troubles with short stage races

ritlefant [Ritlefant] Monday 2.Apr 22:09, 2018
Always time for wine ;-)

Koronin [Koronin] Monday 2.Apr 22:00, 2018
From the sounds of things, there are most definitely issues between Quintana and Landa, and that things are only going to get worse. It might already be time for popcorn and maybe wine.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Monday 2.Apr 20:00, 2018
7th FC-manager last 6 weeks
It's not really a bug. It's taken down on purpose because it made site going really slow yesterday. Hopefully soon back in new version.

Selby is eating the entire stage :D I had a bad feeling at once I saw an out of shape Selby against 109 ranked home player... that can't go fast :D

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Partykjepps] Monday 2.Apr 15:03, 2018
Will be interesting to see how hellish pace Movistar/Bahrain will look to set on the smaller lumps right before the finish of these first few stages to make it as selective as possible.

How much shit are BMC talking in saying Porte is here just to regain form and Caruso will lead? I’ve dropped him, though that’s just as much racing will be a bit too red-hot from the Latin teams here.

Meers222 [GearsMeers] Monday 2.Apr 14:42, 2018

Well, Nibali has spoken a big one day focus this season ... and the all rounder he is, he can do well in all monuments EXEPT MSR ( I would say pre season ) which he won :D

Viktor86 [Le Tour de Brabant] Tuesday 27.Mar 17:53, 2018
Nibali in Vasco probably training for LBL anyway. Besides, Nibali and Valverde are for me the only legit GT GC contenders to put in a cobblestone fantasy game.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Tuesday 27.Mar 16:10, 2018
7th FC-manager last 6 weeks
I am more likely to pick Nibali in RVV than Itzulia. It's like 2% vs 0% :D

goon1221 [BMC] Tuesday 27.Mar 12:28, 2018

Yaks... Bahrain is not nice to us manager players ... Izaguirre brothers, Visconti and Nibali on place .... rude is what is what it is :D
