Najar tested positive for CERA on Stage 1 of San Juan. His team mate Gaston Javier also returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for Testosterone.

Apparently Nibali DNF as well, and Escuela was part of the Gaviria crash. FML

Gaviria crashed and DNFs

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Partykjepps] Wednesday 24.Jan 00:49, 2018
I suspect there will be further twists still, but I was certain both Nibali and Majka was turning up here in order to perform. However, given Majka talked himself down before the race I went heavy on Nibali - miserable choice in hindsight.

Nice to see Ganna performing well two days in a row, I'm hoping to see more good performances this year from what looks like a very promising rouleur with cobble potential.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Monday 22.Jan 23:41, 2018
Nice to see the local riders learning WT riders how to win

If someone would like to take the time to re-write the manager rules for manager competitions, feel free update the text found on pages like this:
http://firstcycling.com/manres.php?konk=807

Help would be very much appreciated.

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Partykjepps] Monday 22.Jan 12:08, 2018
Just reach out to my manager, Andy.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Monday 22.Jan 11:31, 2018
Nibali not on teams who had reserves now ;) Good idea Partykjeppen, I let you make the video

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Partykjepps] Monday 22.Jan 10:47, 2018
Perhaps we should make a short, instructional video and put somewhere on the page #AndyWithBulmer's

Ralf BS [Brunswick Lion Team] Monday 22.Jan 10:05, 2018
First I want to say thank you for your answers. I understood that there is nothing to do by myserlf, because the change to my reserve drivers will be happen by the system. I'm not sure because there are still 16 teams without any changes. (me too).

johnjackjoe [JohnJackJoe Racing] Monday 22.Jan 08:52, 2018
8th FC-manager overall - 9th FC-manager last 6 weeks
You can nominate 2 reserve riders. They function as a security against last-minute startlist changes for people that are in different time-zones or can't always check the latest updates to the startlist.

If a rider in your 9-man team does not start the race, then all the riders behind him move up one position and the first reserve rider (R1) will move into the last slot (#9)

Viktor86 [Le Tour de Brabant] Monday 22.Jan 08:42, 2018
Ralf, the reserve riders are supposed to fill in gaps in your team, when riders are removed from the start list or DNS the race/first stage. Every rider under removed rider is put a position higher in your team.

Ralf BS [Brunswick Lion Team] Monday 22.Jan 08:11, 2018
Is there someone who can explain how to use the reserve drivers? I 'm new here and couldn'f find anything in the rules. Good luck and a lot of fun to all of you.

Koronin [Koronin] Monday 22.Jan 01:58, 2018
I was going to ask the same thing. I also had Nibali and he's showing up instead of one of my reserves in the team.

Jspear [Jspear] Monday 22.Jan 01:46, 2018
So when will reserves show up in our teams? I had Nibali....

Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Monday 22.Jan 01:35, 2018

The Shark DNS, Mark Padan DNF, and Ivan Garcia plum last. Would appear Bahrain-Merida camp have picked up something nasty. Lets hope Bonifazio escapes it.

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Partykjepps] Sunday 21.Jan 23:35, 2018
I'm going for the Darwin-award earlier than usual this year, didn't put in reserves - not yet back in rhtyhm.

Bad race to lose out in too due to many stages as potentially big points-swing in the overall competition by going a rider down.

The above was also why I tried to play it safe and avoid the Bora-trio of sprinters for McCabe. Also a big question mark on teams with both Argentine and Colombian riders on whether they sort it out so the Colombians domestique for the Argentines here and vice versa in two weeks time.

That Lotto-Soudal team though, strange combination of riders to send here. Granted Benoot can climb a bit, but this is really high altitude and against regional mountain goats and none of their fastest finishers either.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Sunday 21.Jan 21:31, 2018
DNS means that reserves will be kicked in.

Jspear [Jspear] Sunday 21.Jan 21:00, 2018
Did he start the race? Will reserves not kick in?

If you hadn't seen already, they are going without Nibali who has the fever.

Yes it is a shame, the worlds greatest leadout man will be at Oro Y Paz at least

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Saturday 20.Jan 21:35, 2018
San Juan - the race where legends are born in contrast to Down Under. I am of course talking about Francesco Lamon! Disappointing to not see him return to a secure 150% position on my team.

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Partykjepps] Saturday 20.Jan 20:35, 2018
Anyone know anything on whether there will be video coverage?
