Sagan would be great at FC manager. He is so good that he basically decides the outcome of the races. If Sagan wants a sprint he can cover all the attacks himself if his teammates are gone and still make the podium. If he attacks, the break stays away. Kuurne and Sanremo are bunch sprint races, but not when Sagan says otherwise.

"I never got opportunity to put my team in manager on M-SR. The badge never showed up before it was too late." Strange, because this is not what we did see here. What badge are you referring too?
And I guess you know to find the full manager calendar:
There it's also shown. Including more upcoming managers, that are already opened and not showing yet on the topline on this page.

I never got opportunity to put my team in manager on M-SR. The badge never showed up before it was too late. Its pity because I predicted Kwiato as a winner, then Sagan and Kristoff, other places :).
Good to see Kwiatek back in shape. Rumours says that he wasted season 2016 because he tried to loose wight to become stronger at climbs. He is strong and very clever. If you saw his interview for Sky news after race, you know what I mean.
People say "Sagan did most of the work", well, which work? He worked mostly for himself. Kwiato says they talked together and Sagan was not interested in cooperation. He was so sure to go alone, and underestimated Kwiatkowski and Alaphilippe. His elbow startet waving at 500m to go, when everybody was thinking of the sprint. Sagan could have waited after descending at Poggio, then outsprint them both.
Another brilliant move of Kwiato to leave Sagan a gap forcing him to sprint first.

Sagan is just so good, make the break and did almost all the work at the flat, and just beaten by Kwiatkowski. Reminds me actually very much about Cancellara and Gerrans in 2012, even though Nibali was doing much work in Poggio then.

8 undroppables + 1 joker spot.
I don't trust Cav to be there at the end, but if he is then he could win.
GVA will probably attack and fail, and unlike Sagan he won't have a sprint left then.
The safe and boring pick is then Ben Swift. Won't win, but won't get dropped either. 10th place or so in the sprint.
Gaviria % also a question mark.

Agree ... it's Sagans to lose .... but the most likely outcome ( a sprint among the strong stamina sprinters ) makes him one out of 4 5 equal big favourites ..... so I guess the Captain spot is open :D
Gaviria is starting as far as i know, so i guess he is ok, and this "injury" wont affect him much .... the Etixx team is so full of options, so if one team here would start a mind game, it's them :D
MartinK [kopvandewedstrijd] Saturday 18.Mar 09:59, 2017
I wonder how Gavirias crash will hamper his chances today. I had him as a favorite today but now I placed him at 100% What about Cavendish today? Will he handle poggio like he did in 09 when he won? Is he playing mindgames like he did in T A the same year? Tailwind and sun, 18°C. Looks like a sprinters festival today. I believe Bouhanni will be hard to beat today, but Sagan is still my favorite because he will be in position to the different scenarioes that may occur.

Really really low confidence when it comes to this game after a couple of SHITTY results lately ... never the less, it doesn't stop my big mouth :D
As i see it, this game is about two things ... scenario .... will Kwiatkowski, GVA Roelandt or some of the likely attackers on Poggio stay away from the chasing group with the strong sprinters, and the 9th guy on the team .... I got 8 guys it's really hard to drop, and it all comes down to guy 9 ..... and that list is long as a bad year :D good luck everyone :)))

Don't understand what you see in Cav here. He hasn't been good enough in this race after he won in 2009. After that he has been in final group once, and that is just not good enough for a rider of his level. Another sprinter who never do well here is Greipel, and if he tries another time, I expect that to happen again.

La primavera. ... cipressa, poggio and almost 300 km of racing ...... yeah people. .... it's time for a huge title again . .... Démares monster form should set him in a great position to defend his title, or is it time for Gaviria to step up as a monument winner .... Degenkolb, Sagan, Kristoff, Van Avermaet or maybe Sonny Colbrellis great form will do it ..... the candidate list is a mile long .... and all from Aru and Nibali to Cavendish can win this thing ..... enjoy setting up a manager team guys ..... I will :))))
