Yeah goon I mean TjvG of course.. been quick with those fancy abbreviations :)

Majka had no chance to escape on that rather "flat" climbs. When Dylan started struggling on the last climb, Majka would need someone like Sagan to make another punch and make a gap. Otherwise he risked to be the one that does all work for Poels, and help him win.

sker [Team Paracarri] Saturday 5.Aug 03:44, 2017
Well I think they expected majka to be able to do something on the previous climbs, in that case the help of sagan would have been significant.
Nothing much he could do in the final climb, I don't think he could hang around with the best without going early anyway.

Anyway one of my worst manager ever here

You mean in his sofa watching it on the telly :D you mean TjvG of course :)))

And the douchebag-jersey goes to.. Peter Sagan!
Someone can explain what he was trying to do today? After total collapse and 14 minutes loss yesterday, Bora stated that they will do everything to help Majka win this race.. then Sagan goes on a loooong solo break where the only explanation must be the show-off for the Slovakian fans..
Congratulations to Teuns, and team BMC, especially GvA who was exactly where he supposed to be at the last climb, saving the overall victory for his rookie teammate.

Remember Colombia was in June last year. But August is good for you, see you won Rio Track last year also. This is a special part of the season, very many races and unfortunately fewer participants than earlier in the season, so easier to get wins.

Fingers crossed. Perhaps it's my time of the year. As I said before I won Columbia last year, my only win last year.

Nice team you have here Aragonite. Could well be your first win of the season.

That pony does not corner well. Pretty cool bit of horse/bikemanship from Roman Maikin. Steers his bike in one direction and at the same time sends the pony in another direction. Impressive.

A couple of fun observations ... Jungels, first to drop, but Claws his way back, and foght with Poels for what poels thought was a stage win :D

Didn't think Haig had this in him, at this point in his career.

This Pony Gallopin we saw (https://twitter.com/CyclingHubTV/status/893131235513556992) is at better form than Soler :D

Max Walscheid will not start #TDP2017 today due to sickness. Get well soon, Max!

Sagans rear wheel span on the wet surface of yesterdays finish, right in that moment van Popel went. Looks like Sagan considered the sprint as too risky and just went for some bonus seconds.

My manager here is gone the moment Hermans fell and retire from the race, i picked him as a captain instead of Theuns (curious to see him on longer climbs).
Also my gamble picks doesn't seem to pay: Rosa is in clear domestique role to Poels and Hirt is disappointing so far.

sker [Team Paracarri] Wednesday 2.Aug 19:28, 2017
Sagan doesn't look as comfortable as usual in the sprints: he looks really cautious. Might be the effect of the Tour or just not taking risks thinking of the WC.
The form is surely not an issue but I would expect him to lose only from a top form Ewan on this field, Van Poppel is a good 2nd rate spinter and nothing more

Cheers Los Brolin. Winning that stage was a complete bonus. Didn't expect him to be in the lead group after that many hills. I'll happily take it though.

Yesterday TdP rode two rounds through Wisla, where I was born and grew up. It is a beautifull place, with good options for road biking, MTB and downhill. Pity that the production did not show anything from the helicopter cam.

Nice for a norwegian to see Eiking in this shape.... he finally seems to feel comfortable with his pro status .... I think we can expect good things from this guy in the future.... The ardenne week is the first thing comes to mind, but also as a gc rider in semi hard one week races .... :)))

Koronin [Koronin] Sunday 30.Jul 02:25, 2017
Assassin, interesting. It seems Movistar can't decide on who they want to send to any of these races will all their last minute changes.

Startlist final. Soler is going to Burgos rather than Pologne it seems Koronin.

Koronin [Koronin] Saturday 29.Jul 02:58, 2017
I'm pretty sure Soler is on Movistar's team for Poland.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Friday 28.Jul 22:18, 2017

Still no official start list, but have gone through all teams, so really only unsure about the National Polish team. Biggest change is Formolo out.
