Just a heads up for all the managers. Timothy Dupont is racing according to directvelo however myself and Andy have tried all evening to find an official startlist and we have not found one so him racing is unofficial

Theres no doubt that DD was way more successful at this stage of the season last year, than they are now, but With that being said, we'd have to wait and see .... I mean, they can still have a good season, and Edvald have WCRR as his high priority, and started off his season late for that reason :)))
Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Tuesday 11.Apr 23:15, 2017
I guess what I'm trying to say is, that his man management skills and his attacking attitude to RR'ing, plus the whole ethos of the DD bike loaning in Africa, seems to have rejuvenated a lot of the older, slightly jaded cyclists in the team.
Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Tuesday 11.Apr 22:41, 2017
He was responsible for getting Cav, and Cummings on board. Don't know whether he persuaded EBH also. I do know he told Cummings he could have free reign as to when he attacked, and look what that did to his performances since. You would have to say Cummings winning that stage in the TdF, on Mandela day was the single most important win, both for DD and African cycling, by far.

My wrong veredictos aren't a surprise... his performence, yes... missing something, probably a lot to do with what you're talking about... will the season's second half be diferent?.. he's still on time!
Aragonite [TORA TORA TORA] Tuesday 11.Apr 17:35, 2017
Getting back to EBH. His performances last year, and this year seem to echo that of the whole of DD. Nowhere near as good. Imo this has a lot to do with Brian Smith leaving the back room staff. You only have to listen to his commentary once on British Eurosport, to realise he is very erudite when it comes to the ins and outs of team RR'ing. Losing this knowledge, and man management has been a severe lose to the whole of DD.
Nathan [De Adelaar] Tuesday 11.Apr 16:22, 2017
Looks a lot like Demare riding the race. http://gpdenain.fr/les-equipes-et-les-coureurs/#fdj-tag Says it.
Francisco [K92-União Ciclista] Friday 7.Apr 12:24, 2017
He changed his schedule this year by missing the desert and chosing the lovely Algarve to start his season diferently and calmier...
Probably, he's targeting other races this year. I will never forget his smile when i wished him good luck to Bergen, he will win it!!!
P.S. For sunday's race he will be on my team BECAUSE he will make Top5, for sure!!!
goon1221 [BMC] Friday 7.Apr 09:41, 2017
Sure ... his talent said he should win big races, like word champ, RvV, Milan Sanremo maybe even LBL ... and Poland, Eneco types of stage races ... even a GT was mentioned in his early years .... so absolutely, his talent has been wasted ..... or overrated. ..
Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Thursday 6.Apr 20:53, 2017
One other factor is that is difficult to get the killer instinct back when you have been super domestique for many years. There is some very good videos from Tour of Britain in 2008 and 2009 which he probably never will do again. Maybe it was not so good riders in the race back then, but he still lack something from his best days.
goon1221 [BMC] Thursday 6.Apr 20:13, 2017
I think, last year he was as strong as he ever was, a great season with alot of wins and some really strong performances ... final in PR as the high light and the great win in Eneco .... but his opponents is much better than they were in 2008 9 10 .... maybe a little late for him to be this monster we thought he could be :)))
BartVelo [BartVelo] Thursday 6.Apr 20:05, 2017
Yes, but don't know if he switched back to his original training after signing with Dimension, but it's now his third year already and I don't see much progression getting back to his old and talented shape. So what prevents him from getting there? Did he have a serious injury in recent years?
Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Thursday 6.Apr 19:58, 2017
Looking back at this 2009 season, what a rider he was! He was decent the first 3 years with Sky also, but then something happened in 2013, which also was the time he wasn't allowed to follow his training schedule anymore. That is no coincidence.
goon1221 [BMC] Thursday 6.Apr 19:57, 2017
Sure, and i argued that for a long time myself ... but the training didn't benefit his talent, obviously, and he became nothing but a great domistique .... after the trans to Dimension, we've seen more and more of good old Edvald though :)))
goon1221 [BMC] Thursday 6.Apr 19:43, 2017
2008 9 ... thats when us Norwegians and the world thought he was the new Eddy Merkcx ... a pretty good climber that had a great punch one of the fastest flat sprints and beat cancellara on timetrails .... but then he came to SKY :D
Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Wednesday 5.Apr 21:46, 2017
For me, his preview is just a check to see if I agree with him or not. And if I disagree, its not always I change my team, since it's important for me to have confidence in myself, difficult to win a game with picking the 9 first riders he mention in a preview. He does well on average yes, but it's important with my own opinions, and find some jokers in some races also, and not only going for the obvious ones.
Erythropoietin [Erythropoietin] Wednesday 5.Apr 20:23, 2017
I had a look at the startlist earlier and could only pick 4 riders that I definitely want on my team. just a bunch of 3rd tier sprinters, and some teams have several of them and no clear captain
