Andy :)) .. you totaly missunderstan my meaning of unlucky... I say that about anyone who hurt themselves all the time like Cav does :D
Well Sker.... i guess the organizers COULD secure the road islands a little better .... at least when they know they have a rider like Cav on place :D

sker [Team Paracarri] Sunday 18.Mar 04:29, 2018

Cav crashes are almost 100% Cavs fault (and yes I include the famous Sagan incident at the Tour wich to me is at least 90% his fault). Mentality play a big roles in all this accidents.

Congratulations to Nibali, simply the perfect Poggio and final descent. Never been happier to have my manager screwed. Sagan last year showed it was possible, he have done it even better

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Saturday 17.Mar 23:48, 2018
I mean when you crash many times it can be your own fault and then it is not only about luck, but how good you are on the bike and how you position yourself. Haven't seen all crashes to Cav the last year, but today is not the first he can't blame anybody else than himself. Just like you say about the Russians in xc-skiing I think it is about the technique here.

Miguel: quoting myself from earlier:

"actually this has to do with how computers calculate, which isnt 100 % accurate. if you ask a computer to calculate 1 / 49 * 49 it will tell you that its 0.9999999999999999"

so your bro's score is probably calculated and stored as 326.99992847 or something like that, while the other guy has slightly more

MiguelSimoes 35 [Pro Cycling Team 35] Saturday 17.Mar 23:12, 2018
Hi guys! I'm asking myself how my brother, who was 11th, has the same score than the guy who finished in 10th but 2pts less in S.C... How is that posible?

Francisco [K92-Team Neverland] Saturday 17.Mar 20:24, 2018

Greipel seemed so strong and ready to discuss the sprint...
I chosed him because of his performence in middle east when he was climbing so well in the breakaway.
I thought he could be with the best today and aparently i was right. Until that stupid incident...

About Cav, no words, third time and we are just in March...

actually this has to do with how computers calculate, which isnt 100 % accurate. if you ask a computer to calculate 1 / 49 * 49 it will tell you that its 0.9999999999999999

?

goon1221 [BMC] Saturday 17.Mar 17:42, 2018

Yeah . .. he is the rider in the world with most crash and injuries the past few years ... that's what I ment ... hence the most unlucky rider on the world

Bugger. Correct Scenario, Wrong Bahrain :D

Koronin [Koronin] Saturday 17.Mar 17:34, 2018
Wow. Congrats to Nibali. I did not see that coming.

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Saturday 17.Mar 17:32, 2018
What a ride by Nibali, but who had thought Krists Neilands would attack on Poggio and be part of the decisive breakaway here? I would absolutely not.

Talking about Cav goon? This was his own fault, can't really blame anybody else this time and then it is about skills in my opinion and not luck.

goon1221 [BMC] Saturday 17.Mar 17:13, 2018

The most unlucky rider in the world ?

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Partykjepps] Saturday 17.Mar 13:36, 2018
I'm playing a scenario where Peter Sagan has reached the point that Cancellara did in the last 5-6 years in his career where all his rivals are more or less just waiting on his wheel for him to make a move. And also that he's come to the point where he knows this and is happy to play it cool and is prepared to lose races by constantly attacking or closing every move - unlike Alaphilippe in Paris - Nice, for example.

So my bet today is a reduced bunch sprint like 2015 and 2016. Roelants is a super joker, Haussler was really strong in Paris-Nice and is a great joker given Colbrelli's recent bronchitis. Considered Danny van Poppel, but the lack of history made me go more safe with Modolo and Laporte instead.

HOWEVER, first point of business when I watch the race belatedly tonight is whether Matteo Bono is in the breakaway. It isn't a proper Milano - Sanremo if not.

Some idiot picked Mohoric as well

Viktor86 [Le Tour de Brabant] Saturday 17.Mar 11:18, 2018

Apparently is Roelandts a super joker.

And how on earth is Mareczko 5 times chosen? Kittel doesn't even make that list.

Startlist Final

Francisco [K92-Team Neverland] Friday 16.Mar 12:06, 2018
23th FC-manager overall
Well, Partykjeppen [you don't imagine how slow i have to write this name... :)] what you are far from know is that he was working with Guardini. They both been living at Poggio and decided to play this way: Via Roma to Mareczko in 2018 and in 2019 to Andrea...

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Partykjepps] Friday 16.Mar 11:50, 2018
BY THE WAY. I don't know if you know this, but apparently Tom Dumoulin has a cold ;;;;;;;;)

Partykjeppen [Il Piccolo Partykjepps] Friday 16.Mar 11:48, 2018
I'm privy to some secret intel. Kuba Mareczko has secretly been solely working on his climb this winter, and will go a mad dog solo attack before the handful of capos at the end - the peloton will stupidly let him go, thinking he won't even get over a sandcastle before cracking as usual.

Francisco [K92-Team Neverland] Friday 16.Mar 11:30, 2018
23th FC-manager overall
Not easy to follow that move... :D

LosBrolin [JuhaMieto] Friday 16.Mar 09:46, 2018

everyone's going to watch Pete as always. BUT WAIT A SECOND, what is happening!?! Is that Juraj we're seeing on the attack..??? Whole peloton is so stunned by it that no one even cares to chase. Now we are hearing Kirby yelling it's Simon Clarke as he can't recognize the difference between Bora and Cannondale kit. After that RAI has some problems with keeping the coverage online and after the imaginary smoke screen fades it's

*drumrolls*

BRO-Sagan who arrives solo for the first time since Cancellara. Who is with me?

Assassin [Troy The Trader] Thursday 15.Mar 23:18, 2018

Betancur is sure winner. Milano-San Remo Starts with an M, McDonalds starts with an M. Betancur potentially enjoys his fast food, MSR has been won by fast men such as Pippo. Pippo ends with an O, Milano - San Remo ends with an O.

Betancur Confirmed :D

Andy [Luxembourg Finest] Thursday 15.Mar 23:08, 2018
Are you saying Betancur isn't the main favorite for this? :D

Koronin [Koronin] Thursday 15.Mar 18:05, 2018
Movistar just released their line up for Milan-San Remo and it's a bit different than what we have:
Bennati, Betancur, Barbero, Anacona, De La Parte, Carretero, and D Quintana.

Doubt this effects anyone's teams for the race through.

And Drama in the Bouhanni department. Cofidis said he was ill and won't take part at MSR, but Bouhanni spoke to media saying he's fit and he got benched. Spicy :D

10/10 for eagerness, Francisco :)

As always, I'll be spending my lunch break at 13:00 to check for new parcours and start list - so even with Schrodinger's Valverde I'm hoping to get this opened.

Koronin [Koronin] Wednesday 14.Mar 00:39, 2018
There can't be a fully official start list as Movistar hasn't send out their official team yet. Now granted I highly doubt that makes much difference to anyone's team here unless of course Alejandro talks his way onto into the line up for this race. Not sure anyone else on that team would be considered a favorite.

Assassin [Troy The Trader] Tuesday 13.Mar 21:48, 2018

Hehe that's ok. The press manager for RCS told us that tomorrow morning we will receive a full provisional Startlist so check back tomorrow and the manager will be open :)
